Kennedy Junior High opened it's doors in January of 1990 with only 6th grade students who had been housed at one of the elementary schools. Over the next 2 years, Kennedy added a new class of 6th graders so by Fall of 1991 the Kennedy Family was complete with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
Academics
Academics

Kennedy provides opportunities for students to succeed in many different ways by offering not only traditional classes like Science, Math, Language Arts, Social Sciences, and Physcial Education, it provides elective opportunities in the area of Applied Arts & Sciences, World Languages, and Performance Music. There are also classrooms that support students who struggle along with students who excel.

There is a multitude of ways students can get involved at Kennedy including Athletics, Intramurals, Activities, and Clubs.

Feeder School Information

All students from Highlands (including all of Olesen Estates) and Ranchview feed into Kennedy for junior high, as do some of the students from Meadow Glens, and Steeple Run. The students from Kennedy feed into either Naperville Central or Naperville North. To view their school websites, click on the links under the pictures below.
