General Music

 

This course runs for a total of 9 weeks and is part of the exploratory rotation.

 

Students will study music through active participation in a variety of musical activities.

•  Introspection and Identification through Listening Day
•  Musical notation and rhythmic compositions using a body percussion composition
•  Music Literacy and Composition using Noteflight software
•  Introduction to Guitar
• Music’s relationship to the other humanities (drama, dance, literacy & visual art)
