Kennedy Junior High School currently has a School Resource Officer (SRO) working within the Kennedy community.  The purpose of the SRO program is to bridge the gap between police officers and young people and increase positive attitudes toward police and law enforcement. The SRO will be a teacher providing law-related education to students, parents, and staff.  The SRO further functions in the capacity of an Administrator and counselor. Working as a law enforcement officer for the entire school community, the SRO will use expertise from law enforcement to assist students, parents, and staff.
